US DS lite advise please

Hi
I bought my boyfriend a ds lite last xmas and as I left it a bit late had to buy a US version from ebay. I think he got a different charger for it but I want to buy him one of those things that you plug into your computer and can play against other people but wondered if anyone knew if they are all standard or will the Uk ones not work on the US ones? (Excuse my ignorance but I have never even used the ds so don't know all the technical terms)
Also where is the best place to buy one ?

Thanks in advance ,
Jen.

Re: US DS lite advise please

The DS is region free so your US DS will have no problems with a UK broadband network. I have both UK and US DSLites and can play both UK and US games online in each one.

Regarding your wireless connection it might be better to buy a
wireless router that attaches into your existing broadband modem rather than buying the
Nintendo Dongle for a computer, but that is down to your personal preferences.
