Problems with DC and scaler

I have just put my DC into my video scaler (quadscan pro) and I am getting problems on certain games when i line double.
Image jumps up and down very fast and makes it looks like you have been on the **** for a few days

Has anyone had this problem before ???

it happens if i go out S-vid or RGB (then converted to YUV because my scaler doesnt handle RGB) and I dont have enough sockets left to add a vga cable.

any ideas ????

maybe someone has come across this with the xrgb or similar ??

I will check to see if the resistor that forces a pal signal has been linked tonigt as this may be throwing things out of whack.
