Zelda Completed Woo-hoo!!!

Yipee!

I finished Zelda Wind Waker at 12.30am this morning!

What a game! Love it!

I didn't do all the side quests, I was too into the game itself, and I decided not to take pictures for the gallery, but the rest I think I got......

I'm debating whether to play it for the second time round, or move on to Metroid Prime. A far as I can see, this is what changes the second time round.....................

1. Link will wear his blue pajamas throughout the entire game.
Grandma will never give him the HERO'S CLOTHES.
2. Aryll will wear a purple dress with a skull on it.
3. You will automatically begin with the DELUXE PICTO BOX.
4. All of the figurines you acquired for the Nintendo Gallery will
be carried over. Also, you can purchase some pictographs from
Lenzo.
5. All of the Hylian dialogue will be translated into English. Now,
you can understand what Valoo, Jabun, and the Great Deku Tree
were saying.

Happy Playing!

Emma....

You need to make sure you have first taken out all the lights up on the turrets, otherwise, once you do get to where you are going, you'll get caught. Visit each turret and kill the monsters that operate the lights.

Then, once you've done an explore of the fortress, get yourself back to the first room, but up one level, then swing over keeping slightly to the right, and go through the door ahead of you.

On the left there is a barrell.. get in it, and walk right, towards two patrolling guards. Once they have passed, go up the stairs they guard, and you'll be outside. From here, work your way up and around some stairs, killing another stoopid guard, eventually, you'll come to a thin ledge you have to shimmy over (this is where the lights would have caught you if you had not taken them out), then as you work your way up and around the ramparts, you'll come to the very top, where there is an enemy to beat, then go in through the doors......

Hope this helps......

Mrs T.

How long did it take to complete it then? Hasn't it got something like 40 hours gameplay or something.

I might buy it soon!

Cheers.

I've had it for about 5 weeks, and played it almost exclusively all that time, mainly at weekends, but sometimes the odd hour during the week too, so I'd guess about 40+ hours.

Could have been so much more, if I had gone for 100% completeness (photo gallery, all rupees, all items (missed 1), all songs (missed 1), all sub quests and trading, all fortresses destroyed (only did about half of them), all heart pieces).....

It's massive! It's also fabulous - my elation at finishing the game was quickly replaced by a type of depression the next day, wishing there was more, I played a bit of Nightfire, a bit of Metroid, but it just wasn't the same !!!!

Don't delay - buy it today!

Been watching one of my friends playing it who got one of the UK release copeis. Looks pretty cool, just a shame there's no multiplayer option.

I love the cartoon styling.
