BMX XXX (US version) Fails to load

Hi

Does anyone know if there is an incompatability problem or batch fault with the game BMX XXX (US version) on the Gamecube?
I have access to 4 standard US Gamecube consoles (not modded in any way at all) being run on a standard NTSC TV connected via component cable.
I recently bought a brand new copy of the game BMX XXX and tried to play it on my older Black console. The Nintendo logo comes onscreen but when it tries to access the game the screen goes black and nothing loads.
I then tried it on my brand new Platinum gamecube the same happens. This also happens on my 2 friends consoles.
I had the game changed and the same thing happened.
I bought 2 second hand copies of the game and it happens with every game on every console.
This does not happen with any other game.
Your advice or opinions much appreciated.

Regards Pete Dewing

If you have any third party pads connected disconnect them then try again this has happened to me with both mortal kombat and turok (I do not own these games just tested the fault for a customer).

To save the hassle I'd buy a Matt Hoffman game and a top shelf mag if I were you.

Well, I knew some people must have bought it, but this is the first time I've seen anyone brave enough to admit it.......
