Snes On Pioneer Plasma

Hi all

Decided to go back to the good old days and buy myself a SNES, (pal version)

Just wondered if anyone could tell me what the picture quality is like on a plasma and if the pictures fill all the screen (no bars).

I read on the web earlier that on a pal version the picture does not fill the screen!!

Someones help would be appreciated asap as I am in the process of trying to buy one from ebay.

thanks
Diinky

Re: Snes On Pioneer Plasma

The picture will definately fill the screen, but imagine that a pixel will measure 1 cm on your screen, this is definately an ''oldskool'' feel to gaming

NTSC versions run at 60Hz, filling the screen. PAL versions run at 50Hz, so there will be a bar at the top and bottom.

This is my region modded Mega Drive, but it will be the same for the SNES.

50Hz:
