N64 Value - Advice Needed

Now that my children have a Wii, I am trying to get rid of stuff they don't use any more.

There is quite a lot of N64 stuff and I would appreciate some advice on whether it's worth selling and if so what sort of price tag I should put on it.

It's been used by two young children - boxes have long since been disposed of to clear space - all games are PAL with manuals (most of which are well worn have suffered at the hands of my children). The hand controllers all work but again suffer from the odd tooth indentations!!!

Rough list is ....

N64 with Power Supplies (x2)
Various cables and SCARTs
3 controllers (red, green and grey)
Various rumble/memory packs
Console memory expansion (x2)
Exploder64 Cheat Cartridge
Pokemon Stadium (inc Gameboy Cartridge Transfer Adapter)
Excitabike 64
Banjo Kazooie
Super Mario 64
007 Goldeneye
Pokemon Snap
Micro Machines 64
Pilotwings 64
F1 Grand Prix
Lego Racers
Mario Golf
1080
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer
Diddy Kong Racing
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Mario Kart 64
Snowboard Kids
Mortal Combat
Wrestlemania 2000 (no manual)

I know I would probably get more selling individually but there are just too many to be bothered so looking to sell in one lot.

Please let me stress again - condition is fully working but well used with typical young children wear and tear - none is collector's quality.

Just need to work out whether there is some value or whether I should just donate to a worthy cause.

Cheers,

Nigel

Re: N64 Value - Advice Needed

Hi Nigel,

Best advice would be to scour the For Sale ads over the past year or so and see what other N64 stuff has gone for but as it's all unboxed, don't expect too much. I managed to pick up a mint boxed N64 + 2 controllers + 10 games locally for £40 a few months ago, but don't know if you can read anything from that as it wasn't on here. It was a bargain in my eyes and that's what matters to buyers really.

Depends on whether you just want rid or really need to make some cash back.

My advice, keep it for sentimental value. Retro-gaming is the way forward

Hope this helps.
Nigel

Totally agree with carlosx. KEEP IT!! For the money you will get for it, its hardly worth selling.
Wish I still had mine I sold years ago for peanuts, would love to play SM64 & goldeneye again.

I'd say around 50 quid for that. You could do better selling it seperately i'm sure.

Re: N64 Value - Advice Needed

The idea is to get rid of it but don't want to give it away.

£50 was what I had in mind but that would have to be collected as postage cost would be considerable.

I'll try sticking it in Friday-Ad and see what happens.

Cheers,

Nigel
