X BOX Advanced Scart

I originally had a 3rd party Joytech RGB scart connector for my X box. When playing the dvd widescreen version of Harry Potter, my TV would display it correctly, ie full screen, ie not letterbox.

I swapped the 3rd party connector for the official microsoft advanced scart connector. Now when I play the Harry Potter dvd, it only plays it in letterbox. It will not fill the screen! I have my tv set up correctly so it must be the scart.

I would have thought that the microsoft connector would have been wired up correctly. Can anyone confirm that this is the case?
Also does anyone recommend a better RGB XBox scart connector?

Thanks.
