Dreamcast...anything better yet?

I've played Halo to death just recently and to be honest was getting a little bored with it. So, for nostalgia sake, I got my Dreamcast out of mothballs yesterday and am wondering just how this machine crashed and burned the way it did. Is there a better sports sim than Virtua Tennis? If there is, I haven't seen it. And Crazy Taxi 2. I can't remember the last time I sat up till 3.30 am playing a video game. Well it happened last night with CT2. OK, it had it's fair share of stinkers just loke any console, but I've seen them going for £25 and I'd pay that just to pay Soul calibur.
The only problem I have now is my AV cable dosen't seem to work anymore and tracking one down is a pretty hard task. Anybody know where I might get one?

ok just a quick question

have you changed the tv set your using it on recently ???

some of the early scarts didnt have the rgb switching on pin 8 I think it is, so sony tv's or tv's that you could manually select rgb were ok but others were not.

if you need the scart let me know, i am off work today , and I'll dig it out for you.

I'm 100% that it's the cable. I wouldn't mind it if you don't want it anymore. What do you want for it?

There are other unsurpassed DC sports games:

NFL2002
NHL2002
World Series Baseball 2002
NBA 2002

All from Sega Sports and all the best in their fields IMHO.

Sould Calibur is still the best beat-em-up out there (SC2 will likely be better) and Samba de Amigo is the most original game ever!!

There is still no better console than DC. Best meaning the most entertaining and long lasting games. I haven't stopped playing 355 challenge or v tennis since they were launched.
