It's Friday 26th What about the list of games for X Box

Has anyone had a look at the list ?

Is that it? What happens if you have them ?

I thought we were getting an extended range or has it been extended.

I looked at the form last week and can't remember how many games were on the form compared to what is on now.

Any thoughts?

Regards

Hi,

I don't think MS have updated the list yet. As least, I hope not. They did add Azurik and Fuzion Frenzy recently, at the same time as they changed the order process and now insist you send it via post with a copy of your purchase receipt.

I'm going to check back tomorrow or Monday in the hope they increase our choice.

Cheers,

JonathanN

Its a bit crap if that does turn out to be the only choice.

Its interesting to see that they now want proof of purchase. Some unscrupulous person might have thought that you could go to a shop and get a serial number off one of the display boxes before 26/4 and use it to make another claim using a friend's address who doesn't have a box.......

If those are the only choices, I was thinking of Munch's and Amped. Anyone played them?

Had Snowboard 1080 on N64 which I liked but wondered if amped would be the same playability wise but with better sound and graphics?

I have a feeling that is our choice.

Amped is wonderful and I would totally recommend it as one of your choices.

Maybe I will phone them.

Just been on the phone to Microsoft and they are updating the web site as I talked to him. Which is the same time as I post this message 13:44 GMT.

There will be more games........How many and the quality I don't know yet.

Nice one Stuart.

Perhaps this is another MS cunning plan to increase the number of hits on their website????

I downloaded and re-emailed the application form back to MS the day this offer appeared, after a few returned sendings my e-mail was accepted and I got a reply saying something regarding them being in touch shortly.

Since then I have heard nothing, do I still need to post the application form or not ?

Dunc, you don't need to re-send. MS have said they've had so many applications they can't reply anymore, but all emailed forms before today will be processed without the need for a proof of purchase. You should get your games in 28 days.

Merrick.

By the way, although the chap on the phone said the web site was being updated as he spoke, infact it sounded like he was looking a a screen and bending his neck to look at someone's screen.

He did say though it could be today or tomorrow.

I think we now all guess that no further games will be appearing on the reward list on the web site. I phoned them up again today and no further games will be added.

Sad. I suppose we should be happy we are getting the reward.

Cheers

Well get two of the better ones and sell them on ebay for £30 each, not great but probably better than plodding thru some of the more mediocre looking free stuff. Makes me glad I only bought mine with Halo......

Get Amped - it's awesome. It can get pretty difficult to progress at times but is worth persevering with.

I have all of the games I want from the list so I am going to get NBA Inside Drive 'cause it looks fun and a second copy of Halo which I will sell on eBay or trade in. I was hoping they might add a few 3rd Party games in.

Surely a £100 refund would have been a lot better.

Well at the usual prices the gift pack represents 115quid ( you could probably get it down to around 100quid online).

You ever hear the phrase don't look a gift horse in the mouth?

I agree completely Mr D. I was happy to pay £299 for it and am having much enjoyment from the machine. If they now want to give me a couple of free games and a controller, it's a bonus.
