X-Box Proper VGA Box - Prog Scan on Loewes

Some clever little puppets have made a proper VGA box for the X-Box which works similar to the DC one and delivers a proper 480p signal in VGA. Why this is of great interest to me is because my Loewe Aconda has a VGA card installed which will give me true progressive scan . They have even included a digital output and it works with anamorphic pictures too.

Quick queston: The box has to be connected to a device that works with an RGB S or RGB C/V signal. Does anyone know if the Loewe VGA accepts this?

I dont know the answer to your question, but I can tell you that the Dreamcast VGA box certainly works with the Loewe VGA card (and it gives a very good picture!).

When I saw your original post I assumed that you were referring to the Redant box that's been around for a while. I my experience that didn't work very well - certainly not anything like the VGA Dreamcast box.

I'd imagine that quite a few people with PAL Xboxes and progressive scan compatible projectors would find this interesting. Pity that you can't get widescreen, though.

Unless you've got an imported X-Box .
