My son is a subscriber. We have been informed the the magazine is no longer going to continue by that publisher and he has already recieved a refund of his advance subscription.

As the magazine has new publishers, this has probably led to the delay.

I subscribed about 3 weeks ago, but have not heard anything!!!

The new publisher has already started - issue two has been delayed till the end of the month (as has already been said)

I subscribed to the new mag at the end of Feb and they confirmed my issues would start with no 3 (due April).

My understanding is that if you were an old subscriber you will need to resubscribe. If you do, you get a free game.... Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Pikmin 2 or Donkey Konga (including bongos) (subject to stock etc)

Thats right, I was an old subscriber. But I have also sub'ed to the new mag (picked Pikmin 2 as my free game), I did not relise it would not start until issue 3 though!!!

It is different depending on when you sent in your subscription

According to my Confirmation email 17th of Feb is when requested my new subs I did it on the web. Does that mean I will be starting issue 2 or issue 3?

You should have received an email that stated the date of the 1st DDR & which issue would be sent 1st.

I got an email telling me when my first DDR will be (28/03/2006), but it did not state which issue I would start with. I would assum that with payment then it will not be this next issue, so I will need to get down the shops to get this one.

My email said the same (28/3/06 DDR start) but below this it said 1st issue would be May on sale 13th April.

No, and I better get it. With the last publisher I selected a free T-Shirt as the subs gift and I never got it, when I rang them they said there was only a limited number. It never said that in the subs info!!!!!

If I don't have my copy of Pikmin 2 by the time I get my first copy I will be making a fuss!!!

Same here - Only did the sub for the game, I mailed them yesterday & asked them to confirm that I will get the game & when it'll be sent. Still waiting for a reply.

Well they must have a big back-log of orders to fulfill, so it's worth being patient.
