Please can someone help me name this game!

Ok, when I was a kid my cousin had an original monochrome Gameboy, and I once borrowed it and a couple of his games. One game in particular sticks in my memory but I can't find any mention of it anywhere on the net. Obviously it came on an original square game pak, and I think it might have been called Max or something very similar, or atleast that name rings a bell.

From what I remember you played as a lad in the game and I think you could shoot some kind of roundish missiles. I know its not a lot to go on but can any body help? I'd be so grateful!

could it be PANG - the game where you move left and right and shoot at round bouncy balls that split into 2 more balls when you hit them

But I am not sure if it came out for the original gameboy

Don't think Boy and his Blob made it to the Gameboy. It was certainly on the NES - had it myself.

Can't help on the game, I'm afraid.

http://www.nintendo.com/gamelist

Have a peruse there. I had a quick look and there was nothing called max for the GB.

But looking through the master games list may jog your memory...

Hope that helps

No it made it ok - got it from Canada around the time of launch. Still have it if anyone is interested, couldn't play it at all - confused the hell out of me! So many jelly beans, so little time.
