post from nintendo nsider boards:

Quote:
A spanish gaming site has revealed that Silent Hill 5 Will be Exclusive to the revolution. Here is what they had to say, and if any one knows spanish it would be great to translate it!!!!

I wonder how long it'll be an exclusive.

Or it could be a case that they are implementing a new control system which will make it difficult to replicate on other platforms?

exactly, because with these exclusive titles half of them surely will not be possible to port to the ps3/xbox etc due to revolutions unique controller

just a thought

But I wonder whether Ninty will release dual control systems, for people who prefer a more conventional interface.

tbh they should have made an all out attempt for Resi evil series to be exclusive. i feel silent hill is a poor mans Resi Evil, its an ok game but not as special as RE, imo of course. I dont think it will be missed on other system.

saying that not many titles stick exclusively to one console so it will probably end up being ported to another system

This doesn't seem very plausable now, since it hasn't appeared on any major gaming sites in english yet

I wouldn't trust the original article too much - after all, they've claimed to have gotten the news from a Spanish gaming site.

Sadly, the language the article's written in is Portuguese. Bit more journalistic research needed next time, fellas.

I love Silent Hill even if the last one was a little off, it reminds me of a Stephen King book especially the first one!
