I recommend a magazine called XBM. Some pretty good reviews of all the games + a release schedule.

I'm still trying to convince the mrs. I'll probably get Halo and another maybe Project Gotham.

I've played a bit of an early build of Rallisport Challenge. Highly recommend it, and that was about 3 months ago.

why r u buying the Xbox then?

What games are u're fav?
Have u played any?
Did u goto the Xperience show?
HMV in Ox.St have a demo machine up,
u could try some of the launch games there.
U might see me glued to the machine

Get magazine like Edge, and the official Xbox Magazine.

R u into fighting games? shoot 'em ups ? strategy games?

I'm in the UK and have reserved an xbox for
release day. I've said to myself that I'll
only buy hardcore excellent games. If I wanted "just"
v.good games I'd buy a ps2.
Considering the port overs to xbox of Silent Hill 2, GTA3
etc. Just faster loading, extra screens and little shaper
gfx doesn't warrant a purchase of a ps2 port to xbox! But
since the xbox is out and there are loads of games to
choose from it I'm going for the Xbox and xbox games
which use the hardware to the max.

My obvious two are : Halo & DOA3.
Halo for being so excellent in everyway and DOA3 for
being the ultimate fighting game in terms
sound\gfx\playability. I know it wont be long lasting,
but i'm very sure when playing against friends it will
last for AGES, at least until the next major fighting
games comes out, as I'm a fan of the Street Fighter 2
series and miss doing fireballs, blanka's electric shock
etc. A fighting game along those lines would be great.

So the above two games are definite.

If you have a fast connection then u could download some xbox
game movies t ogive you an idea, try sites like :
www.gamespot.com

The other games I'm looking forward to are :

-Gulvalkyrie
-Genma Onimusha
-Hunter The Reckoning
-Murakumo (cool movie but what abt the game?)
-Nightcaster
-Soul caliber
-Mortal Kombat

Cya,
Shaz

I simply cannot wait for Championship Manager so that'll be first, but I'll also be getting Halo and Munch's Odyssee.

I passed on getting a PS2 and an import Gamecube so I cannot wait for the X-Box........
