Whats happened to Twilight Princess?

Just noticed that my Play.com preorder now shows July 2006 as release. Surely this is going to the Revolution now. Would be a good move by Nintendo to have a Zelda title for release.

Any of the other sites showing different dates?

Who knows, very little has been seen recently. I hope it does come out on the GC, you never know they may already be working on a different Revo Zelda anyway!

Most recent rumour was that it was still very much a Cube game, but that it would have some features that could be "unlocked" for the Rev - such as a full control system.

Nintendo's most recent release schedules for the first quarter of this year are yet to mention TTP, so July is certainly a possibility (albeit a rather surprising time to release such a big title - July and August are traditionally very quiet months).

Sounds very much like they are intending a simultaneous console and game release to me! As Kube has already mentioned, the bonus of being able to get a brand new Zelda game with the release of the Revolution would be a good move from Nintendo.

Its been delayed to add further Revolution compatability and some other things we don't yet know about, should expect its release to be around March/April

It seems crazy they didn't make zelda a launch title for the revo. If they can delay kameo for 7 years, they can delay zelda by 9 months.

I'd rather see it on the revo TBH.

Ive had it on pre-order for a while too. I think I would rather have it on the GC and another version on the Revolution. You cant have too much Zelda.

now if they made it so you could swing links sword with the revo controller that would be super cool and id pay £1000 for that game with the console.

..... but i can see myself getting tired and objects getting broke very quickly if i have to do the spins myself
