will a nintendogs imported from hong kong via ebay work on a UK Nintendo DS? thanks.

As I understand it it'll work (as DS games are not region specific) but I think there was a question mark over whether it would interface with UK versions.

By interface do you mean link to other people with the game?

Aye, as I understand it with Nintendogs you can link to other DS's that have the game and play together/unlock stuff. Apparently every breed is available in all versions of the game but some are locked until you interact witha person who has that breed. i.e. Labrador is actually available on the Daschund version but is locked.

It's this playing together that I've not seen a definitive answer on whether it works between foreign versions of the game.

Same thing really, DS games are not region specific but the mutiplayer but might not work.
