Fight Night Rnd 2 ?????

Got FNR2 and I'm very impressed - only critism is the jaggies on the footage in between rounds

I love the tempo and the controls - I didn't play the first one.

Anyone know how it compares with the first FN or how the Xbox version compares with the PS2?

i don't think there is much difference at all between the two platforms, but xbox might be smoother when fighting, and there might not be as much jaggies in between (as you said).

im thinking of getting either this game or fifa street maybe (yes I kno they're different genres). only thing holding me back from this is that even though it has good reviews, im not into boxing tht much lol kinda confusng

I'd suggest against Fifa Street - reviews haven't been kind to it.

FNR2 is pretty good, it's more of the same as the original with a few tweaks - not worth getting the earlier one for if you have to choose.

It's very much typical EA - get last years game, tweak it a bit, add another year and BOOM sell it !

The first Fight Night was superb. The stick controls worked really well (although I always found hooks hard to do - kept doing uppercuts). Not played round 2 but I expect it's the usual EA slight improvements but essentially the same game kind of thing.

I couldnt get into FN1 at all - found it very difficult, but Round 2 is awesome - cant stop playing it.
Career mode is excellent, although as soon as you hit the top 30 the diffculty shoots up - need to learn some serious blocking & parrying.

Definitely dont get Fifa street - Ive played it & it isnt very good.

£31.99 at Play and I'm sure you can find it even cheaper.
