New to this forum!!!!!!!!!!! please read, Need help with X-Box

Hi guys basically im new to this thread and i wanted to know if anybody on the forum has there x box chipped? also what does the chip enable you to do? also does anybody have any emulators on there x box? if so then is it worth me doing this to my xbox? Sorry bout all the questions but would really appreciate it if anybody could answer them for me... Thanx!

lots of people of this forum have modded xbox's. for the most part to allow high definition output to their Plasma's/projectors. the chip has the alibility to let you run lots of different software for doing video switching, having a media center, runnning avi's etc of HDD. you can also load emulators like mame etc to the xbox and run those. the modchip as well all know can also play backups of your xbox games

but does if affect your xbox in anyway? can it destroy it or run in down in anyway? because i dont want to spend alot of money doing it up and then it breaks down on me?
