Yeepee My copy of Chaos Theory for my Xbox arrived from Play UK this morning.

I shall now go into a vegative state over this long weekend.

Damn ive ordered it with gameplay who usual tend be the best for getting games early and its not even shipped yet

You will not be disappointed.

Sam is so much more versatile. The maps are now 3D. This really is an awesome game. Also there are no checkpoints during the levels.

No you make your own checkpoints don't you? the quick save option. some reviews have said this makes it a little too easy to finish? have you had a go of the co-op yet and whats it like?

According to various online sites/forums UbiSoft are none to impressed with what Play have done. Various rumours of what they will try to do, eg Sue, no longer supply titles etc etc. Could be interesting to see what happens(if anything).

Yes it does have the quick save. After every level at the end it gives you a sort of report screen that lets you know what you've completed and a percentage. On my first level that I completed. Turns out I'd only done 58% of the first mission.

There are a few extra gadgets, weaponry and moves etc but I wont post them as I don't want to spoil the surprises for everyone else.

So far I think this is the hardest one of the 3 for obvious reasons I wont say why, but I'm very impressed so far.

When I met Michael Ironside last year he said that he wasent that happy with Pandora Tomorrow and that Chaos Theory was loads better so if Sam Fisher himself thinks CT is better than Pandora Tomorrow then it has to be good

I've really enjoyed what i've played so far, i also got about 60% on the lighthouse level but now i'm sure i'd do better if i replay it. Currently at the top of the boat...

Yeah i played the Lighthouse level on hard and got 100% no kills and only 1 guard KO'd. bloody demo's make you want the games even more, oh well only 4 more days to go.

I found that you can kill but you need to hide all the bodies because if one is found that takes off % at the end. Also if they hear you or spot you that also knocks % off at the end.

its great because now there is an expert mode in Splinter cell. im what you'd call a die hard splinter cell gamer and my only gripe with the 1st 2 games was it was insanly easy on hard mode. good thing is now on expert there is no quick save or save between check points, PS LFC Fan i got 100% on Hard on demo with no kill or no knockout's

yes there is a way to get the guy at the tower but i'll let you try that one

also cybersoga please no spoilers mate ive already seen your on a boat and now your wetting my apetite to much so please stop

should have mine tomorrow hopefully. pity all the people on this forum are getting it for xbox so i cant play some of you guys at Spy Vs merc

either way hehe you playing xbox or pc demo. not fair xbox demo got the shotgun attachment and pc demo did not

I'm past the boat now, won't tell you where I am now but I can say it gets better and better! bit of mission impossible now

Despite the lower resolution, I thought it was best to get the xbox version because it's more cinematic on the big screen. I'm playing it in 480p. The texture detail is higher than you'd expect for such a console, and the dolby digital sound pretty good too, not to mention the controls.

Ok i've tried and i can't see how to get off the lighthouse without knocking the guy out, so tell me how you did it?

was done on hard as well. abit slow for me but i wanted to get it totally right and not mess up so i didnt need to redo it all. my fastest time run is about 3 mins on hard with no deaths/ko's or intruder alerts

i do have to much time on my hands

should i tell my secrets should i not. hmmm well there is trick some may call it a bug/glitch.

when you climb the ladder wait till the guard is in a patrol position were he cant see you so you can get off the ladder. quickly equip a sticky camera and fire it at the railing on the outside that goes round the circumfrence of the tower. its a small area to hit so pin point shot is needed. also obviously its needs to be through a broken pane of glass. then gas the NPC and he goes down. for some reason gasing from a camera dosnt count as a knockout on your stats so hence the 0 knockouts and 100%

Well i would never have worked that out, i did gas him today but that counted because i did'nt hit the rail? oh well thanks for telling me i'll give that a go.

yep by amon tobin and its superb cant stop listening to it. got a drum and bass feel about it as he was a massive drum and bass producer before hand. there is the normal version and a DVD-A version (dont know if thats out yet though)

picked up my copy from yesterday. started playing at 11pm and went to bed at 4 (i haven't seen 4 in the morning for a looooonnnnggggg time!!

its a great game - and it just keeps getting better and better. once i get home tonight i;ve got two whole days!!!!

cant wait!!
