Need a definitive answer........!!!!

Hello all.
Got the Xenium SP.ice chip sorted. Playing games no problem.
Get a nice full screen picture.
My problems begin when I activate the hidef settings.
THIS is what I get.
I assumed that I could run PAL games at the very least at 480p, is this
not the case. Is what I am getting on the display normal ?
Must I buy hidef US games to get a full screen picture ?
I am starting to get very confused with all this.
help...........
Cheers guys.

Johnny.

Most PAL games will work at 480p - looks like the display may not be interpreting the signal properly?

Yes all xbox games should run fine in 480p afaik. I've played lots of different games since activating 480p on my xbox and all run fine and in full screen. The only exception to this is Pro Evo 4 which does not quite fit the sides of the screen so i don't see the first letter of the players name in the fomation menu, but other than this minor error all games look fine. Sound like the error is at the plamsma end rather than the xboxs. Can you connected your xbox to another TV to see if it works on prog-scan?.

As mentioned in another thread, this is a display issue I would have thought. Try selecting zoom in the picture settings and see what comes up?
