Yeah NTSC Version runs in 480p and 16:9.

It's a pain when PAL software doesn't include the HD code, Happened to me when I bought the PAL version of Thief:Deadly Shadows, no 480p but NTSC did, so I hire all PAL software now to check first because Xbox 480i looks bloody awful.

Agree with that, my PAL version of Rebublic Commando just looks very soft and even blurry. Although it is a good game and i am getting into it, this is beginning to put me off it.

Is the PC version nicer than the XBox version or is it just an XBox port with higher resolution?
Im not buying PS2/Xbox ports on the PC anymore coz i know the PC can do much better. (HL2 and such)

I dont mind seeing games being released on multiple platforms, but when they port over the exact same code they used for the PS2 (the least powerfull machine on the market) over to any other sytem that everyone knows can do better, its unreasonable for the makers to expect us to pay full price for that!

Once the next batch of systems (PS3 XBox2) come out the difference wont be as large as it is now, so maybe then it wont matter what platform the game is made on, but at the moment it makes a huge difference!

Oh yeah it is a great game, just a shame the UK version looks poor. I might give the pc version a try.
