AVForums Editorial Updates: June Podcast now up!

As you may or may not be aware the AVForums team have been working hard to improve the Gaming editorial content provided on the site.

Since the start of the year we have:
  • Secured a sponsorship with Shopto to allow us to review more titles.
  • Had a new database and review homepage put in place.
  • Implemented a user scoring system for all reviews
  • Relaunched the podcast
  • Created a new gaming homepage which acts as a one stop hub for both gaming editorial and forum activity.

We are proud of how far we've come and urge you to check out the new changes and provide us with feedback and suggestions.

Moving forward I will keep this thread updated with the latest content releases.

Thank you and enjoy

Latest Review: Mario Tennis Open (3DS)

Quote:
Mario’s back, racket in hand, on a new console, ready to see chalk dust fly in Bowser’s face. 3D, touch screen and the gyro sensor are all employed, but is it a fun sports classic or a frivolous peddler of technical gimmicks?

Latest Review: The Walking Dead: Episode 1

Quote:
Telltale games has found a perfect match in The Walking Dead franchise. Fans of the franchise will find the new perspective on the apocalyspe interesting as new and old characters try to survive. Newcomers may not be familar with the fiction however relating to the human plight is universal and the characteristion coupled with the choices and thier consequenes make this an excellent way to get into one of the best videogame adaptations of an existing franchise to date.

Latest Review: Mortal Kombat (Vita)

Quote:
A slice of bloody handheld fighting, chock full of special moves and Kombos. Brought to the Vita with all that was great about the console versions' gameplay, it lacks the slick presentation but adds a mix of extra content and as such represents a solid portable package.
