Hi guys

Does nayone know what has happened to premodded.com (.co.uk)
I have recently got a crystal cbox and was planning to use their courier service (TO mod - not sure which chip and add a bigger hard drive) I noticed a few months ago they offered a service which preinstalled all the software you need. Sadly the webaite seems to have been down for over 2 weeks. Just wondered if they have gone out of business?

as far as i know, my brother was going to order from them, but he said something about them being on holiday until mid november if that helps.

I bought a couple of Crystal Xbox's 3 weeks ago from Ben at Premodded.
He was indeed going on holiday and I seem to remember him saying he would be back in November.

drphibes - could you tell me if he still pre-installs software? His site used to list all the software (emulators, media pplayers xbcopy etc) that came with the mod but no longer does

My Xbox's did come with lots of bits installed like a snes emu etc.
I would email Ben first to check that they all come this way.

I sent one to be modded about 3 weeks ago, this came back with all the software programs loaded. Very good service i've sent 6 xboxes to him for modding in total and never had a problem.
He actually used to put 1000's of ROMS on aswell as the emulators but I don't think he does that anymore.

was going to send mine off - the web site was up last week with a note saying they were going to back from holiday on 2nd November. I sent them an enquiry email but have not heard anything yet.
Then late last week the website became unreachable, and its still not back.

So not sure what is going on at the moment, or even if they are still trading...

Are there any alternatives for sending off an xbox to be modded - with a lager hd fitted? Premodded were pretty cheap - about £60 for the mod and £60 for 120GB hd
