confused can i use hi def x box on this screen ??????

Thinking of getting hi def out of my xbox.

Question is will my tv show the improvements and accept it??

its a sony rear pro 44" (kp44px2u).

OR will it not support any form of this hi def stuff??????

ps the tv does not have component inputs, only rgb scart.
