d-terminal cable help...

hi, i am hoping some kind soul out there can help me out. I recently purchased a d-terminal cable for my ps2, not knowing that d-terminal basically japanese VGA. My question is, is it possible to make this into a regual VGA cable? i have a high end video projector that i would like to connect this to, hence the VGA input. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
