Since it became illegal to sell modchips in the UK I doubt you will find many places openly talking about how to run backups but if you do a search on google you should find some helpfull info.

Yeah, this is a big grey area now that PS2 modchips are illegal. Games that aren't actually out yet have to be played on a modded console, so doesn't this make this thread a bit out of order? I thought it was going to be about a high street retailer who'd broken release.

The discussion of modifying PS2s is illegal, however discussion of copied software is not. However, I do urge those forum members who are involved in the nefarious world of downloading software to perhaps not be so blatant about it.

The current rules can be changed and if the moderators feel that it is causing an adverse affect on the AVforums community then we may be forced to severely limit the discussion allowed. Just please bear in mind that the majority of the forum is not in favour of piracy.

i really cant wait to buy this game,thats if the papers dont get it banned before it hits the shelves.i just read the articel in the star or the mirror about how "outraged" the people of nottingham are at the release of this game after the shooting of that kid.manhunt and the GTA trilogy are to blame for most of the crims in the uk dont you know.anyway back on topic I WANT THIS GAME

I allready have preordered it, so i think its okay for me to test it a bit :D But i´ve heard that the game is insanely lo-res, and allmost no drawdistance..hope its not true!

yes i read that the game is low res too
but thats true of many ps2 games, the ps2 is showing its age now and frankly cant compete with the xbox in terms of graphics. The only ace card it posesses is exclusive content, which if managed correctly should see sony flog a few more units of this ailing console

Its a real shame the release date slipped from tomorrow to next Friday - I agree regarding the graphics (wont be up to the XBOX) but the content - oh the content .. I just want to get on a bike, ride out into Hicksville, pick up a shovel, batter someone with it, then bury him in a shallow grave - and still be back home in time for tea. And of course the latest movie so gets me all hot under the collar - role on the 29th !!

I swear to god these forums have gone down hill, since when has it been acceptable to talk about copied ILLEGAL games?? You guys can't wait a measily week for it to be released?? You're just as bad as the people who leak the game in the first place!!

It has never been banned to speak about game piracy and this is not a new topic. In fact there have nearly always been threads about copied games except that a lot of people most probably haven't mentioned they have copied it.
