Starwars Battle Front on playstation 2 a few questions.

Hi.
Does anyone have battle front on the playstation 2?
Is it any good as an off line single player game as I do not have multiplayer online capabilitys.
Can it be played as a split screen shooter like time spliters or is the multi player strickly online only?
What are the controlls like with the dual analouge sticks? is it easy to pick up and play or is it like a stratgy command and conquer type game?
Many thanks .
Dave.

I have it on the PC and bro in the room next door plays it on his PS2. He's been having great fun in single player mode and we've had a couple of multiplayer games and it is split screen.
Control wise as a pc gamer i just can't get to grips with this kind of game on the console pads but if you've played any kind of FPS on your ps2 before it'll be much the same.
AI wise on the single player it seems not too bad , you get the usual sort of bottlenecks developing but that's expected.
Certainally worth renting if your not sure but if your a bit of a Star Wars fan you'll love it IMO.

Hi there,

I have this game for the PS2 and do not have multi-player facilites.

I have enjoyed playing this game (helps though if you are a SW nut!) and found it to be quite fun and varied. The ability to fly and drive different craft is quite cool.

My only critisms are that the game is too easy on the medium setting, I have almost finished all of the worlds already, and that is just through casual play. Also the AI seems to act a bit odd at times.

Go get it, or even rent it, you'll have some fun!

I have this for the xbox and also really enjoyed it. Would agree that it is a little easy on Medium, i have completed the game so may now try and difficult.
I like the fact that each character you can choose from has a different strength and weakness to them. I also like the fact that you can operate each Star Wars craft etc, its great sitting in a scout walker shooting anything that moves, or flying a tie fighter etc.
I personally would recommend getting it.
