x box live + Mod?

Hi folks,

I bought an x box second hand and its modded with an executor chip i think. i am planning to sign up to x box live in the next month or so and was wondering what the implications are? i can turn off the mod with a switch and the x box comes on in the standard way... will i be ok if i do this when signing up to live? Each time i'm connected to live will the mod have to be off? I have the box outputting progressive scan using the hi def kit to my projector... do i need to switch off progressive scan output to use live? I have searched through the forum and its hard to get a definite answer..

Any help appreciated,

Cheers,
Mick

If you have the chip activated when you access Live else your box will be banned for life. If it's turned off, you will be fine.

Sorry, I can't help with the HD kit, as I don't know much about it.

Prog scan output and Xbox Live are 100% compatible. Modchips and Xbox Live are not.
