You could always try the (spolier text)duplicate birthday present route

The problem with that is if its a duplicate why would it be opened?

Just flog it on Ebay. You will very likely sell it for more than you paid to some clueless muppet.

Tesco's let you take cd's and dvd's back so just do the same.

Say you werent happy with it and normally they just give you a refund or an exchange.

I took my XBOX version back to PCworld as it kept crashing. So just say you've got the same problem.

Cheers Guys!!

Just to let you know that I took it back an managed to get a refund!!

Just checked they had no others first cos I think bought the last copy last night.

Anyway never seen any left so I took it to customer service desk and told the lady it "just keep crashing!!". She asked if I wanted to try an other one, so I said there was none left. She then asked if I wanted other game, so I asked her if I could just get the money back and she said that was fine.

So quality a saved £30 there!!!

I've found that most retailers will except a returned game, cd, film as long as its within a few days of purchase and a reasonable explanation to why you don't want it. Kudos to the stores and staff involved as its results in repeat business.
