Eliteconsoles - any good?

I am thinking of buying a premodded (X-Ecuter) Crystal Xbox from these guys (comes with 90 day warranty). £194 and an extra £79.99 for a 120Gb HD.

Anyone used these guys before? Any better deals out there?

Don't know anything about them but it seems like a fair deal, just remember to be sure to disable the chip if you plan to go Live !!.

Slightly more for the Xbox but £20 less for the 120gb HD makes it cheaper overall. Excellent company as well!

as an aside - whats the point\benefit of having a modded box then ? and also the point of an increased HD

I thought modding would result in not being able to use Live - and thats all I realy use my box for

All new mod chips are switch equipped allowing the mod to be switched off and allowing XBL action. You can also use the larger HD to store all your games on instead of having loads of discs. You can run superb apps on your HD like Xbox Media Center which turns your Xbox into a full multimedia machine with full DiVx/Xvid/MP3/CD playback plus the ability to stream all this media off your home PCs via the onboard network card.

premodded organise a pick up, chip then return service. Do you do that? Can't see anything on your website.

I would like mine to get an executer and a 120gb HD.

Not very easy to see how much though. I get £119 not including return delivery or fitting of the HD. It's £120 all included from premodded.

Guys if i buy a modded xbox(and i alreay have a HI-DEF pack) can i then use the hidef pac to get supporting games in a higher res in PAL or does it only apply to NTSC software?
