At first I thought: PSP? You've got to be kidding. But then I thought, well, it probably was the most impressive thing at the show.

Being impressive doesn't necessarily translate to sales though. Is the system going to be worth the expected massive pricetag? It's one thing to drool over a system at a tradeshow, it's entirely another to plunk down hard-earned cash to buy one.

Not being entirely up to speed in the high tech world are there any links to the psp and the expected price?

This guy suggests upwards of $500, but I really can't see it getting that high. But considering what Sony's got planned for it (playing proprietary DVDs, etc) it could very well be a very expensive piece of hardware. Add in the fact that you'll have to pay for a better battery and memory sticks (or the equivalent) and it'll probably be a more expensive hobby than the PS3.
