This game has been getting rave reviews, has anyone played it?

It looks like being one of those few film license games that is actually good!

Sounds good & looks good from the vids i've seen but 10 hours long? thats a bit crap aint it?

Deus Ex 2 was about 6 hours long or so. I still had a bash on that

A lot of games are getting shorter now-a-days

I was all set to buy this last week then discovered it wasn't out in the UK yet!

it's a stunner. The reviews are right, it is a movie licence that's done properly for once.
The control method is very intuitive and the game doesn't require you to go round levels blasting everything in sight. IT has a nice learning curve that eases you into what Riddick can do (and the stealth sight is great)
The story is pretty cool and the prison is great with a brilliant mix of characters from top hardnuts to loopy lifers. Riddick looks and sounds damn cool and they have his animation down to perfection.
The lighting and textures are stunning and will probably give Doom 3 a run for its money IMO.
Definately worth a look if you want a story based game with a little bit of 'cool' factor

So the game may actually be better than the film!, not that i've seen the film, but i imagine that as it has Vin Diesel in the lead role it's not going to be good.

Depends if you liked 'Pitch Black'. I for one loved that film, and am looking forward to the sequel!

i thought pitch black was basically a alien rip off with non american actors to be honest,for some reason i watched it again and i really enjoyed it second time.and now consider it a really good film which i hope the sequel will do justice to and not just be a cash in.the game looks bloody awesome aswell (just to get back on topic) lol.

I have just got this today so will let you know what its like. It has been getting rave reviews and i really hope it is as good as most people make out as recently i have really been struggling to get into a game
