Just had a view of this and i'm gobsmacked! The graphics of this game looks simply amazing and it's an amazing feat for them to get such quality out of a PS2. The bit towards the end with the driver in the open top sports car is out of this world - it just looks so real it's scary! Although it's hard to tell from just a movie, the AI looks to have improved a lot, far less ridged and added to that the way the cars fly over the bumps etc is great. There also seems to be a great tight race track in there with some wonderful looking hills and dips and a narrow race track that should be great fun to race!

Holy crap - looks amazing!

The prologue version is out 28th May - kind of a cut down version of the game to wet our appetites. You can apparantly do something with your prologue saves when the full GT4 is out - unlock something that non-prologue owners can't or some such.

It's only £13.99 from mx2.co.uk - can't really pass it up at that price

Yeah I got the Prologue version months ago when it came out in Japan. It's worth getting just for the licenses and it has 5 tracks on it and a reasonable selection of cars. There does seem to have been a good move forward in terms of quality since the Prologue version, which believe me is no mean feat!

thats exactly what i was thinking,i mean i have vice city and manhunt on the xbox and basically the ps2 is getting used for pro evo once in a blue moon but even thats coming to the box.i have gotham 2 for the ulltimate driving game anyway and then this comes out i cant wait to play this i really cant.if only it was 5.1

Yeah exactly - with PES 4 set to come out on X-B0X, this game is really the only thing that keeps me holding onto my PS2 - basically if I got rid of my PS2 now I wouldn't be able to play what is looking to be the best driving game to date.

Yes GT4 will feature fully online races but they are still keeping a lot of the features about the game secret - I do think they have something groundbreaking planned!

Yep i've had the prologue version a while. It's worth getting just for the excellent license tests!

The video shown is also in game footage - a few of the tracks Citta D'Aria, grand canyon, new york are on the prologue and look the same druing replays etc.

I have been waiting months for GT4 and with Outrun coming out on the X-Box ariund Christmas time i think i may have to buy an Xbox just for Outrun.
