I was watching Scarface for the first time last night...have been meaning to watch it for years, but now it has just been released on DVD it seemed the right time.....

....anyhow couldn't help but notice the influence the movie must have had on the Vice City designers.....

...anyone else notice that Tommy Vercetti's mansion in the game internally is exactly the same as Tony Montana's in the film...big red sweeping stairs, lots of black marble, the main room at the top of the stairs with a set of CCTV camera screens to the right of the desk, even a big shoot out at the end of the film..all very similar to Vice City...also..

the night club in the film is almost exactly the same layout as the game..

uncanny..even the wife noticed it without me saying a word!!

It's the soundtrack that they used on GTA3 that has made me laugh everytime I now watch Scarface.

Yep definitely a lot of vc is taken from scarface, which is no bad thing as they are both excellent.

Also the lawyer in vc is pretty much the same as david kleinfield in carlitos way.

Also there's a bathroom in vc with blood all over the bath tub and walls and and chainsaw in there.
