I have a box that fits the expansion port of my PSx - is something similar available for the PS2 as opposed to a soldered modchip?

dont even bother with them. stick to the well documented ones - either the executor 2.2's or 2.3's, or the newest xbit's.

personally i use an executor 2.2lite and it does everything i need it to.
