Thumbs down NFS underground

should be called NFS unfinished, its an absolute disgrace as a racing game, not good enough to take on the burnout2 speed and unadulterated fun crown and defo not good enough to go for the gotham simulation crown.i havent seen a racing game as unfinished or poor as this since the last ridge racer attempt lol.ABSOLUTE DISGRACE PLEASE DONT BELIEVE THE ADVERT ITS A SHAM OR SHOULD ISAY SCAM LOL.stick with burnout or gotham

Are you sure you're playing NFS Underground????

I have found it completely amazing, although it is far too easy, even on hard mode. Online play is also a lot of fun.

Which platform do you have it on? I have the PC version, and i love it

I think the graphics are really good.

But i am playing it at 1280x1024 with all the options set to high.

I can't comment on the Xbox version, but i assume as it is an EA game there is no online play, which is the best part of it for me.

Well thats it I must need an eyetest. Those pc screenshots do look good but they arent night and day better than the xbox, I guess its probably down to resolution. It does get a bit jerky in places on the xbox but I dont see where your coming from SILVERBACK. Everyone is welcome to their own opinion I suppose.

i'm with SILVERBACK on this one, its a pityful game. about time EA hung up its driving gloves. played along PGR2 and Burnout 2 its really bad. I agree that the PC shots posted above look fab (but hey i bet the graphics card in that PC cost more than my XBOX?) - but fab graphics do not a good game make.

Just a thought from a fan of racing games.

The best handling and most enjoyable NFS so far is the very first one on PC. The rest have all been far less realistic in their handling and the courses have sucked.

As an other point, generally I find PC racers seem to play better than consoles, they just seem a little less Arcady!? in their play.

As has been posted, with Burnout 2 such a laugh, and PGR2 for realism, why bother with another NFS?

Have'nt picked up underground yet, but am expecting it to be usually EA hype so will rent it and confirm. Which is a shame, cos I love other EA sports games. (Tiger, Football, SSX3etc.)
