Wii through Onkyo 805 no sound

Have connected my Wii through the Onkyo with a component lead, this upconverts and takes the signal to my plasma via HDMI however there is no sound. I have the 2 audio cables plugged inot the corresponding component slot.

Any help is appreciated...

thanks

Re: Wii through Onkyo 805 no sound

try...

plug the audio cables into the cd inputs.

select your video feed (component 1) then cd. you should have video and audio.

This works on the 874 and 605.

On the 805 you might be able to assign an audio feed to a video feed though.

good luck
