Nintendo.

Like to throw something into the hat, sorry if this has been discussed before could not find anything.

In a couple of years from now assumming the so called 'Status Quo' remains ie the format war is still going on as now, slow sales less than a million players per annum etc.

The next gen consoles specs should be announced, Sony has Blu-Ray for PS4, Microsoft HD-DVD for XBOX 3 and Nintendo is left to choose its format for its next console. Its choice on storage for games could have a big say in the format war as consoles generally sell in the millions per annum worldwide.

Its relationship with Sony is not great due to the canned SNES cd-rom debacle and its relationship with Microsoft is also not great.

But would either Sony or Microsoft be willing to let bygones be bygones and give incentives to Nintendo to increase the user base for either format.

Opinions welcome.
