KEF has joined forces with 20th Century Fox to promote the Blu-ray and DVD release of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.
For two months from 21st September, KEF dealers will host Prometheus promotional material alongside KEF’s T-Series speakers in-store, and will invite KEF customers to enter a competition whereby anyone buying a KEF product from an authorised dealer will have the chance to win an all-expenses paid, five-star luxury holiday to Petra, Jordan – where Prometheus was filmed.
The KEF/Prometheus tie-in also includes another competition, which anyone can enter online. Simply click this link and you’ll have a chance of winning a £2500 home theatre system comprising KEF T205 speakers, an Onkyo AV receiver and a 40in Samsung flatscreen TV.
For this campaign KEF will also be extensively promoting the Prometheus Blu-ray and DVD alongside its T-Series speakers in a series of online and magazine adverts, and through its Facebook and Twitter social media channels.
Michael Johnson, KEF UK Head of Marketing, says, “As a brand, KEF is about having a real passion for music and movies – and Prometheus is one of the biggest movies of recent times. So we’re delighted to be joining forces with 20th Century Fox to promote the movie’s home release, as well as offering consumers the chance to enhance the quality with which they experience the film in the home.”
