LINDY have a very skinny HDMI cable for those awkward connections

Ultra-Thin at just 4mm

LINDY Electronics has just launched a range of ultra slim HDMI cables that are designed to make it possible to connect awkwardly placed devices, without any degradation in quality.

The cables are only 4mm thick so they should be well suited for confined spaces such as connecting displays mounted close to a wall or threading through conduit. The cable includes active electronics that amplify the signal, which is important on only modest run lengths, according to LINDY.

The LINDY Ultra Slim High Speed Cable with Ethernet is available either with HDMI to HDMI gold plated connectors or HDMI to Micro HDMI.

“Standard HDMI cables can be cumbersome in tight spaces, which is why ultra slim cables are a great problem solver, but as many users have discovered, go over distances greater than one meter and degradation starts to set in,” says Andrew Ingram, Product Manager of LINDY Electronics. “Using active electronics enables us to maintain the quality of the signal in longer lengths.”

The cables are available in 1, 2, 3 and 5m lengths and support multi channel audio, display resolutions up to 1080p and is 3D over HDMI ready. The cable features a shielded construction and is guaranteed for two years.
