Linn have released details of their rather smart looking, new Kiko network music player that, naturally, allows you to play all your digital content and control it all using your mobile device of choice (smartphone/tablet/laptop). Linn says the Kiko is small enough to find a place in any living room, kitchen or bedroom but is still optimised for great music performance.
You’re not limited to music only as you can hook up your digital or satellite TV, Blu-Ray player etc to benefit from the Linn touch with three HDMI inputs and one output, one analogue and optical/electrical digital inputs on the rear, and an auxiliary input on the front panel along plus a headphone socket.
The system comprises a network music player with integrated amplification and a pair of actively driven speakers with 33W into 4ohms and digital crossover filtering, featuring outputs with Neutrik Speakon connectors.
On release the Kiko will come in six different colours - from low-key Back to Black to funky Blue Monday and, of course, white. Recommended retail is expected to be around £2.5k.
