Hi,

The time has come to replace my old pay as you go Nokia 6300. Its served me well over these past 4 years. The thing is I'm currently stuck between a choice of two phone which I like the look of, and would like some help advice on which to purchase.

The two phones I'm looking at are,

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S with the 8MP camera.

or,

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2

Now I know the Galaxy Ace 2 is pretty much a brand new just launched mobile, but is it actually any better than the Sony Ericsson with the 8MP Camera?

This will be my first smart phone purchase, and as you've all probably guessed, I tend to hang on to my mobiles until they really have to be replaced.

One point I will make is, I used to own a Sony Ericsson K750i which broke despite never being dropped etc after 2 years. Has Sony Ericsson's quality improved since the K750i or am I better going with the newer Samsung?

Any help/advice or user reviews from members who either own any of the mobiles mentioned is of course much appreciated.
