New contract, can you cancel?

New contract, can you cancel?

If i purchased a new 18 month contract via mobilephonesdirect with t mobile would i have 14 days to return the phone / cancel the contract if i was unhappy with the phone or coverage?

Reason i am asking is because i fancy getting the HTC Desire with TMobile but im unsure on their 3G/Internet coverage. So ideally ide like to try it out if you know what i mean?

Distance selling regs give you 7 days (if you buy online or over the phone). Some networks offer longer, not sure about T

There's a coverage checker website online. If you search google for UK mobile phone coverage you should find it. If I were you I'd just find a friend with Tmobile and try it, its a lot of hassel otherwise. Buying a phone, risking it not working well, dealing with customer service, blah. Phone a friend

What if i have no friends?

Also, i have checked the coverage checker, it tells me the below story.

General 2G seems to be fine every where so i have no issues on this side, however looking at the 3G / Internet it seems non exsistent which is what the white means and the majority of places i will be in seem to be WHITE

Now, because it is white does this mean i will not even get a connection or will it just be poor and slow?
