Generally, SIMs are free as long as you top up at the same time.
On the subject of tariffs, if you will only make a very occasional call, you could consider a virtual network like ASDA which offers a much cheaper "pence per minute". |
This is great, thanks so much. So first I should find a sim only deal from vodaphone, and if I want find a sim only deal for an ASDA virtual network. Then once I have done that, then get the PAC code, then contact vodaphone to transfer the number from my three sim card to my new vodaphone sim card and then wait 2 days and I am good to go. Have I got that right?
Can I also do the above from buying in store at like the carphone warehouse, will I get similar pricing compared to the internet?
Lastly, I have had in the past 2 contracts both on the three network, and I got with these contracts a phone each. Since my contract had finished, I kept the sim card and contacted three who then activated the contract sim card for the phone as a PAYG sim card which I have been using ever since, then I placed this same sim card into the other phone and it's been working. I was wondering if the vodaphone sim card will work in these phones? I thought you need to get the phone unlocked to be able to use other sim cards?
Sorry for all the questions but I really do hope you can answer them all? I really need a sim urgently!
Many thanks in advance
