PAYG is too light... but don't want a contract - Simplicity vs Liberty

Heyy

I've been on PAYG forever and now that I've started uni I find I'm topping up way more and it seems silly to not be on some kind of "contract". But I'm not so interested in a new phone and have been looking at the 02 Simplicity SIM-only 1 month "contract" which looked pretty good - until someone pointed me to the Virgin Liberty SIM, which for £10 a month - rolling - you get unlimited texts. I've never been on Virgin so have no idea about their network etc. but that just sounds too good to be true?? Because it fits exactly what I need 100%.

Kind regards!!

Virgin uses the T-Mobile network for their signal, so it will be worth checking the t mobile network coverage on t-mobile website, vodafone also do a sim only 1 month contract, along with o2, o2 do 800 mins and unlimited texts for £20 i think???
