We have bought a piano for the kids to learn on properly. Not owned a piano before and don't know the first thing about them.
It's a 1960's Welmar baby grand being delivered next week.
The action has been taken away for some work to be done.
What is a typical cost, please, of re-profiling the hammers and adjusting the repetition springs?
And when the action comes back, what do I look for to tell whether the work has actually been done?
