Roland TD3 Drum Module. . Sticky Button!!!

I recently bought a TD3 kit, and i love it, however the
Instrument button (which gives you the options of adjusting different sounds for each pad) sticks, and when pressed simply stays in, and doesn’t even engage the actual function, meaning its currently pretty pointless.
Obviously I could rip It out, and just press whatever is underneath it, but I do want to keep it in good nick, So does anyone know if theres something I can do, for example, can I unscrew the module and easily adjust the button or just remove the rubber cover and leave it bear, then simply put it back in if I decide to sell it, or can it be fixed??
Ive not seen the inside of the module so don’t want to risk damaging it if I do have to open it, I just wanna know the best way of getting it sorted (for free!) As this seems like a feature I would like to use, as it seems like Im missing out on a lot of sounds id love to be playing!
Cheers for all the help, in this forum and the next!!

Short of taking it into a Roland repair centre all you can do is unscrew the panel and see what the problem is underneath the button.

Why not pop it into a Roland centre and get an estimate.
