Looking for suggestions for a "relatively" easy Rock set-list

Ok, so the Harley Davidson band that I'm a part of are looking for a set-list to practice. We've sort of come up with the following that we feel are "do-able" - but would appreciate any other suggestions of rock that may be relatively straight forward....

Here's what we have so far....

Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns 'N' Roses
Rockin' All Over The World - Status Quo
The Boys Are Back In Town - Thin Lizzy
Summer Of '69 - Bryan Adams
Mustang Sally - The Commitments
Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi
I Love Rock 'N' Roll - Joan Jett
God Gave Rock And Roll To You - Kiss
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
All Right Now - Free
Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf
2-4-6-8 Motorway - Tom Robinson Band
Gimme All Your Lovin' - ZZ Top
Since You Been Gone - Rainbow

In the band there is.....

Lead Singer
Bass Guitarist
2 x Lead Guitarists
Drummer (me)

Re: Looking for suggestions for a "relatively" easy Rock set-list

Rock'n'Roll, Custard Pie - Led Zeppelin

Back In Black (or pretty much anything else) - AC/DC

Purple Haze, Wild Thing, Foxy Lady - Jimi Hendrix

Sunshine Of Your Love - Cream

You'll have to figure out a second guitar part for most of these I suppose. But having two guitarists to cover the parts should make it easier to pull them off.

Re: Looking for suggestions for a "relatively" easy Rock set-list

Just a word of warning, some of those vocalists / songs are quite high, eg, Bon Jovi and Rainbow, so unless you have a naturally high vocalist, you may find some berries being popped trying to hit some of the notes

Not helpful to you, but we have a no Bryan Adams rule, the amount of times he's requested has become an in joke, but we will resist.

You might want to add Billy Idol, The Cult, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bad Company, Black Crows, Rolling Stones, etc to your prospective list.

Problem is, the set list needs to be crowd friendly too (and wife/partner friendly) so relatively obscure tracks are a no-no.

Need crowd pleasers, singalong, mainstream stuff to be honest. Paranoid is only in there so the lead singer can dress up as Ozzy for the second half of the set

Rolling Stones is a great idea. As for the high vocals - the lead singer is pretty hot with the high stuff. He's no Justin Hawkins but he's pretty up there!

Re: Looking for suggestions for a "relatively" easy Rock set-list

I'll throw in a couple of suggestions that shouldn't be overly challenging musically or vocally and pretty mainstream/well known.

Bartender and the Thief - Stereophonics

Wake me up when September Ends - Green Day

You can find the sheet music for drums here Here.

How about:

The Eagles, such as Life in the fast lane, or Hotel California

Yes, to wifey's / girlfriends etc they certainly are.

The tracks need to be *singalong* fun tracks that a pub will enjoy whilst still being "rock" tunes.

All girls know Bon Jovi, Guns 'N' Roses, Joan Jett etc but many will say "what's this" when breaking out into Purple Haze.

But appreciate you helping

I like the idea of Hotel California - may be one to throw in the middle just to calm things down a touch.

Okey dokey

I still think Back In Black could work though.

How about Like A Rolling Stone? That's a good singalong track

Re: Looking for suggestions for a "relatively" easy Rock set-list

How about............

Brown Sugar / Honky Tonk Women - Stones
Abracadabara - Steve Miller
Spirit in the Sky - Norman Greenbaum
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Let's Work Together - Canned Heat
Broken Down Angel - Nazareth
Money For Nothing / Sultans of Swing - Dire Staits
Can't Get Enough - Bad Company
Substitute - Who
Peaceful Easy Feeling / Take It Easy - Eagles

All pretty old but well known and ideal for pub gigs.

Also perhaps a little less known by some wives and girlfriends but great boogie for a pub are Back in the Night and Down at the Doctors by Doctor Feelgood.

I know these all go down well as I've been playing them in pubs for around 30 years!

Funnily enough I was looking at Can't Get Enough last night. Great song!

Thanks for the others too - all brilliant.

Dont forget some Floyd.

Wish You Were Here
Another Brick In The Wall Pt2
Comfortably Numb

Also

You Really Got Me - Van Halen version

Black Night - Deep Purple
Its My Life - Bon Jovi
Walk This Way - Aerosmith
Superstition - Stevie Wonder
Stuck In The Middle - Steelers Wheel
Proud Mary - CCR

Also I dont think those "obscure" songs will be obscure to the girls at all.
However you can do songs that they if they dont know they will like such as..

You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC
Dancing In The Moonlight - Thin Lizzy

Stuff I've done over the years (apologies for repeats from above) that will be popular, some of it not rock, as such. As I've played it, it's relatively easy.

Summer of 69
Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon
Word Up (rocked out)
California Dreaming (rocked out)
Mustang Sally
Sweet Home Alabama
She's Electric
Hey Jude
Message in a bottle (that'll sort your drumming skills out)
Brown Eyed Girl
