| Anyone used an SE reflection filter for vocal work?
I'm likely going to be recording some speech vocals with a work colleague for a big project. I've done similar things for work in the past and they've agreed to pay me as a contractor for subsequent jobs.
In the past I've taken in a couple of decent mics, stands, pop filters, a mixer and digital recorder etc, but I've been lucky with the venue... a quiet and relatively dead acoustic space.
However, my next job is likely to be in a hollow sounding room and I know it won't sound that great in there.
So I've been considering an SE reflection filter.
If they really work, although expensive (£200+) they look like a great mobile instant acoustic treatment.
Has anybody used one? Are they worth it?
