New toy - Pearl Eliminator 2002C Double Bass Pedals

Just got these bad boys from jdmmusic.com

Took a week to come but worth it. Been using Big Dog doubles at my drum tutors. These eliminators are *seriously* fast, plus come with interchangeable cam's for extra speed.

Beaters are 4 way too. Highly recommend!

haha....i asked how you found bulldog hardware and then i see this

i own this exact same one and it is incredible, cheaper than its rivals as well (iron cobra, DW9000) as slightly better and versatile

Hehe, the dog pedal came with the acoustic kit, the double pedals are going to be used with my TD-20.

Very impressed with the Pearl's - extremely quick

Look like they're from a Transformers film to me

Seems like you have been progressing pretty fast on the drums, as I know that you only started pretty recently.
You'll be replacing Dennis Chambers in Santana next.

Don't you love it when you get new kit What sort of style of drums playing, do you play? I'm currently researching lots into my new electric guitar & amp purchase (finances & wife permitting)

Spend a lot of time on them or on practice pads. Tend to drum along to everything in my DJ box at work too - just using a set of sticks and hitting areas of the console - that's pretty much 40+ hours a week.

I see a drum tutor every week too - really got stuck into the whole thing to be honest. Wish i'd done it 20 years ago...

I have two kits now - a Roland TD-20 VDrum kit and a Danny Gottleib Basix acoustic kit (with heavy duty silencer pads!) that I am going to use for gigs.

The TD-20 is too nice to take out, the DG kit is ideal as it's very "boomy"

Really like both to be honest, I'm certainly not an "electronic" snob - I love the Roland kit.

Here is the Roland kit:-

And here's the acoustic kit (with the HQ soundoff pads in place!)
